Work◆Flow for Humans is led by Michael R. Speciale. He has spent more than fifteen years as a producer and cultural strategist, and he has built systems for foundations, artist residencies, and a growing media company. He now runs this practice, a production venue, and a production company on the same systems we build for clients.
Most operational problems are translation problems.
We translate chaos into shared maps, strategy into labor requirements, and urgency into phases a team can survive.

A 10,000 square foot production building in downtown Los Angeles, with two studios, a rental business, an operating manual, and a booking system that runs remotely.

Michael co-founded a DIY arts space in downtown Los Angeles and scaled it to $400,000 in annual revenue. It taught him what it costs to build an organization from scratch under pressure.

You work with the principal, and you own what we build.
Diagnosis, architecture, and facilitation run through him. For builds, we bring in a network of builders we've worked with under pressure, per project and under his direction, so you always know who is doing the work.
Airtable is usually where we start, and we'll recommend an off-the-shelf tool whenever it's the better fit. Everything we build is documented so that it belongs to you.
We run no more than three projects at once, and we'll tell you up front if we're at capacity. Most of our work is remote, and we're always open to working in person.
We use AI for administrative work, so people have time for the work that matters.

Client intake and sensitive material are anonymized before any AI tool touches them.
- Opt-in, per workflow
You can decline the use of AI for any part of the work.
- Never used for training
Your data doesn't train models, and it doesn't leave the tools you've approved.
- Discretion as a design requirement
Where confidentiality is the priority, we build without AI in the pipeline at all.
